Dolores Vince Cruz-Dela Cruz

Serving the deaf for almost 24 years has been Ms. Dolores Vince Cruz.

Dela Cruz's most valued accomplishment in life. Her skill in sign language interpreting became the key to opening her own doors to success. She is a woman of strength and courage, always doing what is best and not settling for anything less. 

      She was certified by the Philippine Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (PRID) in 1982. Her ability to handle challenges and her love for special children made her serve at the Philippine Association for the Deaf for 14 fruitful years. Aside from teaching the deaf, she has also served them by volunteering as an interpreter at the Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko. Because of her unparalleled giftedness in signing, she has been chosen to interpret during the 4 th Asia Pacific Congress on Deafness and the 6 th National Convention on Deaf Education and Awarding of the Most Outstanding Special Education Teacher for the Deaf. She currently interprets mass at the Glorietta Mall in Makati . Ms. Dolly continues to nurture her talents and skills by attending seminars, workshops and trainings to hone her craft in teaching the special children.

Ms. Dolly is not only known as an excellent interpreter and an outstanding teacher. More importantly she has served her family through a love that is strong enough to make her three children realize their full potentials, as well. Allan Patrick is a staff nurse; Rhea Doren is a Technical Care Representative while her youngest child, Alvin Paolo, is a 2 nd year student studying Bachelor of Science in Management. While supporting the family on her own, since the death of her husband, her sense of responsibility and her compassionate nature have driven her to focus on her children who she considers most important.

An exemplary interpreter, an enduring special education teacher and a recipient of A Tribute to Teacher Award at the Sta. Ana Elementary School and a mother of three God fearing children, Mrs. Dolores Vince Cruz Dela Cruz acknowledges the goodness of God for all the blessings she has received in her life.
